Do you ever ask yourself the question, ”am I doing the right thing with my life?”. Well I do, and I can tell you that it’s a pretty hard question to answer.
Just when you think you’re in the right place, mother nature turns the earth and you’re lost again. I have the feeling that I’m stuck in a maze. I know where to go, but I can’t find the right direction. Art school is teaching me all new things, but please believe me when I say that I’m dying for some more sleep and a little less stress. They are killing me over there!
Most of you know that my dream is to study for a while in Paris and gladly my school can help with that, so I know where I’m fighting for. Still I feel very sad about the fact that I don’t have any time left to write about my biggest obsession in life…Paris. I miss you guys so much, I love writing for you and share everything I know and discover. You guys are amazing and have left so many great comments on this blog that kept me motivated every day ♥
Sometimes I dream about my future. Living together with my lovely boyfriend and staring out the window with a little cat next to me. I still want to work hard. I want to write, draw, talk, read, learn, teach, edit all day about Paris. Share my stories and feelings about this beautiful city till the day that I die.
The only thing I have to do is to be patient and remember that we all have to work hard to achieve our dreams and that’s not a bad thing, only a bit frustrating sometimes ;) So, am I doing to right thing with my life? I don’t know jet, but I hope that I can answer that question in a few years…
Again, apologies for the lack of posts, If I have found a little time I will think of you. Do you guys think to me then?
Sweet dreams everyone or a really good morning ♥
Let’s start this week with a Weekly Photo Challenge called ‘reflection’. I chose this picture for two different reasons. The first reason is obvious, it shows a reflection of the famous hotel, ‘Hotel du Louvre’ in Paris. The second reason is more personal but if you’ve followed my blog a bit… you may well expect what’s coming ;)
Paris is more than a city for me. It’s a place for reflection, self-awareness, challenges, inspiration and a place for achievements. Some people have a display of prices in the living room, I have Paris. My ultimate goal in life is to become a true ‘Paris expert’. I want to write all day about this city and enjoy people with my work. It won’t be easy but to be honest, I’m convinced that I’m going to achieve that goal! I’m already on my way, right?!
Thank you guys for all the help in achieving that goal. I hope you enjoy my blog and look forward to read more stuff. I’m working on a new website about Paris. It’s so much fun to be working on it but it cost a lot of time. I also have to go to work, what always takes a bit too much time ;) I try to work as fast as possible but good articles and drawings take some time. I work with love and passion not with stress and a deadline! I’ll keep you informed when it’s online and I hope to see you all around!
Thanks again for all the support and don´t hesitate to send me an email anytime!
Enjoy the photo and let me know what your perfect place for reflection is.
Bonne nuit (ou bonjour!) ♥
We all have those days when we have zero inspiration and we rather go to bed than we blog about something. Going to sleep and hope ‘tomorrow is a better day’. Which can be a good idea because enough sleep is good for new inspiration. But, we all prefer writing a fun post for our dear followers.
It’s important as a blogger to stand out from other bloggers. You have to keep your blog up-to-date so they won’t forget you. And personally, the smile on my face, when I read all those kind reactions, is much more important than going to bed on time ;)
So when you’re stuck into a ‘black moment’, here are 3 tips to help you to get back on track in Blogland!
1. Don’t know shame.
Shame, what’s that? That word isn’t in the dictionary of the internet. You can blog about anything. Let’s try it out. What’s on your mind right now? Squirrels dancing around some nuts? Well, that’s pretty interesting, blog about it! I’m sure people would love to read it. But seriously, blogging must come from your heart. My blog is about Paris because everything I write comes from my heart. I find it challenging and learn everyday some new things.
2. ‘’Cheat’’ on your subject.
There’s nothing wrong with writing about other things than your main subject. Many people think ‘’I can’t blog about that because it has nothing to do with my subject ’. You can blog about other things, but not too much. Otherwise you’ll lose your true followers, who are following your blog because of a specific subject. It’s better to combine it.
Here’s a example of my blog: I thought about ‘waiting men’. I combined that thought with my main subject Paris. Added a nice picture and voila!
3.Read, read and read!
You can learn so much from the internet. You don’t even have to go to a library. Use the search bar on Google and go on adventure. I always go to Google news and then I search for Paris. Sit back, and Google does the rest for me! I only have to read and read until I find something interesting. And when I found something I’m really excited about.. I blog about it!!
Still no inspiration? Post a quote, fun fact or a photo. And if you really can’t think about something to post, than it’s better to get some sleep. No big deal!
